Getting Your Permit

So I'm flying out to Canada for the IEC program in 2 weeks.

One question that I think I know the answer to already but I want to check as I get nervous about these things.

To get your work permit all that needs done is talking to a person at the airport you land within right? You don't need to go somewhere specifically to get it?

Also any additional information from people who have done this before would be greatly appreciated like a walk through on the entire thing from when you land
