What to do about gas/flatulence once you already have it? (Not looking for prevention strategies.)

Not sure what I ate that set me off as I didn't change my diet, but I have terribly uncomfortable gas - mostly intestinal but some belching as well.

I know all the prevention strategies out there, but I need some suggestions on what to do when the prevention strategies didn't work! The internet isn't offering me anything helpful so I'm turning to you all!

I'm incredibly uncomfortable and a little stinky! (Luckily I'm working from home today.) Is my only solution to just wait it out?!?!
