How long will we keep our 13 minis?

Some say until a new mini comes out. I bought mine 2.5 years ago and recently replaced the battery. I plan on replacing the battery again in 1.5 years and then run with it. So im essentially going to hang on to my 13 mini for another 3 years. How about you? I love it too much..
