Any advice on keeping Gila Woodpeckers away?

I have this one pesky Gila Woodpecker that keeps coming by to feed off of my hummingbird feeder. I'm tired of playing farmer Joe sitting on a porch with a scowl on my face shooing this thing away, or hoping my 7 month old rescue will earn his pay and start barking at it 🤣

Anyone have any suggestions on how to prevent other birds from hijacking feeders from our hummingbird friends? I thought of getting some chicken wire fencing and putting it around the feeder so that only hummingbirds can fit through it, but it's an ugly solution...
