The 3 Episode Screenplay

So, I just finished reading the 3 screenplays for the possible TV adaptation of HOL. I haven't seen any discussion on this before and only recently found out about it. Now, I know that the TV adaptation will likely never happen, but I need to know what others think of it. Where do you think the story was going? What did you think of the new characters? How well do you think it held up to the original work? There are so many questions and so few answers.
