It kinda makes you feel you’re gonna go on this wild ride in the beginning, but ends up just being “I’ve seen that before”. Maybe could’ve been better with a little rewrite.

I feel like the Horror genre is so saturated now. You can’t just have a unique idea anymore (because chances are someone else has done it already with a different spin), you have to also execute it justly on film. It’s not about blood or guts or jump scares anymore, it’s “how can I truly get under the audience’s skin”.
