Do you feel some end up transitioning to avoid gender roles?

Just an observation, since being trans has become a more well known thing, more people are aware of it yet i feel some do end up trying to transition for the wrong reasons. (No i dont want to stop them, its their life, their choice, this is more of a discussion topic)

Seems to be more common with trans men at least from my experience, that they decide to transition but mostly to escape the idiotic gender roles and later end up detransitioning, not in a transphobic "the evil trans tricked me", just deciding to stop T and detransition back to a woman.

Based on what they say, especially in more butch circles it rly feels like they are more focused on escaping gender roles rather than because they feel male, they just dont feel incredibly female but specifically not the female in the misogynistic society's idea of woman(which many transwomen unironically embrace). Which leads them to questioning their gender and trying to transition and later detrans.

Now there's the other side of the coin, some detransition often because of unwelcome experienced, this mostly affects transwomen who fail to pass and some transmen who seem to actually mostly miss the lesbian circle social support they received as a woman, neither of which sound like valid reasons to detrans since they are clearly trans just facing obstacles.
