Polk or Klipsch

I’m finally in a spot to start getting a home theater setup. Wanted to start out with a 3.0 setup and move to a 5.1 after a bit. I’m looking at the following starting point. My wife’s only input was they need to match.

AVR: Denon S760H Center: Polk XT30 compact or Klipsch R-50C L/R: Polk XT20 or Klipsch R-40M

My question is are either of these a bad starting choice? Or is there a better set to start with?
