Is everywhere in the uk just farms

I really want to be able to just walk far off in any direction and explore the landscape but where I live literally everywhere it is just farms every direction for miles and miles, and they have big ditches and stinging nettles. It’s kind of annoying it feels like I’m trapped I can only walk along roads or go through nature walks. Is it like this everywhere or just where I live?? I live in the flattest place in the uk apparently so I hope it’s not like this everywhere
