Just bought a like-new remastered chair and need help confirming whether its worth keeping or returning ASAP.

Hello HM connoisseurs…just received a remastered aeron from Mercari. They have a three day window to inspect the item before processing payment so just trynna get some advice. It was advertised as like-new condition and manufactured in 2018. Price was $775. The chair was pretty well packaged in terms of stability with cardboard insert separating the base and backrest however no wrapping or cushion was provided which may be the cause of some scuffs. Im not sure. There are a few areas I wanted to address that stuck out to me. Starting from the bottom of the chair…

• the manufacturing sticker is there but not 100% sure of authenticity when it comes to these labels.

• the tilt tension knob seems to operate but doesn’t really twist smoothly. Are these supposed to take some effort to adjust…especially when tightening?

-regarding the mesh, it looks in pretty darn good shape but was hoping if any experts could confirm it is in fact genuine to the remaster. (Note that this was said to have all genuine parts).

• regarding the backrest, Im not sure if its just me but I struggled a bit getting it on and im still not sure its 100% on correctly. The left screw was especially stubborn and wouldnt screw in smoothly (and i did slowly screw each at a time before tightening all). The screws and backrest install just didnt go as smoothly as I felt it should have but perhaps i made a mistake. I also took a picture from the side to show how it sits against base/arm adjustment and it just doesnt look quite flush.
