The book readers were right

I’ve seen all of the movies at least twice, making sure to re-watch the first 4 around the holidays every year and decided to start reading them the day after Christmas. Anyway, I just finished Goblet of Fire a few minutes ago; there is so much context, and many important characters & storylines, key moments missing from these movies that the people who I thought of as overly critical were absolutely right.

Watching YouTube reaction videos, further helped me see how confused/not clued in first-time viewers are.

Personal opinion what I would’ve liked to see: - Barty Crouch Sr. missing storyline - Winky & Dobby in the Hogwarts kitchen

Don’t even get me started on all the opportunity there was to clear up Lupin & Sirius’s background in Prisoner of Azkaban and how some memorable lines given to Hermione in the movie were Ron’s in the book.
