Square checking? Pros/cons?
I've been debating opening a business checking account to keep my expenses separate and to help me do my taxes more efficiently, but I've been considering using square checking instead. They don't seem to have any fees or minimum balance, whereas a business checking account through the bank that I already use has a $10 monthly fee if you don't have at least a $500 minimum daily balance. Also correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I read somewhere that you have to have an EIN to open a business checking account and I don't have an LLC or EIN or anything like that set up yet, so that's why I thought the square checking would be easier to start out with. Anyone here use square checking? What do you like and dislike about it? Pros and cons? Can I easily transfer money from my square checking to my personal checking for personal purchases? Thanks for any info!
