Forgotten Gem!Shout It Out- Shotgun Messiah (1988)

I managed to accumulate quite the cassette collection in the 80’s and early 90’s. I lived in the suburbs of Toronto, Ontario, Canada and would make regular trips into downtown Toronto to purchase the latest releases in the genre. I had to if I wanted to get the “hard to get stuff.”

Shotgun Messiah’s self-titled debut was one of those records and this is the song that made me wanna buy it!

They were from Sweden and the record stores in the suburban malls weren’t carrying it. So I got on the subway and headed down to Yonge Street. I was NOT disappointed!

Interesting fact: Bassist Tim Skold… the blonde guy in the video singing… would go on to replace Twiggy Ramirez in Marilyn Manson in 2002!
