New Guitarist looking to buy first proper guitar, I have two choices…

Hey my fellow three chord strummers and Shredders. Nine month along guitar player here, I currently own a cheap Tele for my first guitar but in these last 9 months I've fallen in love with playing (which lead to me getting my first proper amp for Christmas (Fender Mustang GTX 100)), been listening to music since I was 3-4 on mum's iTunes account and so l'm happy to say that I'm sticking with the playing. Anyways enough of my backstory, l've come to a point where I'm beginning my research for my first proper guitar, at first I was set on getting a Squire CV 70s HSS Stratocaster but after speaking to other guitar players I think l'll skip that range and go for something nice straightaway, after doing my research I've given myself two options: Fender Player II Stratocaster (HSS) or the PRS SE NF3 (HHH). Now I'll give some context on what I expect from it:

I'm looking for something very versatile, will work with my amp well (I'm fine with either brand, it doesn't make a difference, amp is the fender mustang gtx 100), something that I will still be happy playing into advanced stages, and something that can suit the multitude of genres l enjoy:

Blues, Rock (Alternative, Indie, Blues rock, surf), Indie (cigarettes after sex and wave to earth kinda stuff), Soul (R&B, Neo-Soul), Jazz, Christian/Gospel, hard rock (and a tiny bit of metal), and singer-songwriter the main type of stuff I'll be playing is John mayers early stuff (room for squares, heavier things, continumm, battle studies) and lots of Muse too (Blackholes and Revelations, Absolution, The 2nd Law). However having the ability to explore all those genres with the guitar and amp combination is really important to me.
