Is it just me or have loading screens/times gotten worse on current gen consoles? (Ps5/Xbox X/S)

I went to enter my garment factory after completing a mission and I was stuck waiting on a black screen for a while, long enough for the game to tell me that I was going to be kicked for idling. It’s not just this either, even entering free mode takes wayyy longer than usual along with other things that would put you in a loading screen.
