neuter / pexy coming up

hi there. getting our dane (levi) neutered and his gastropexy this week. we have a couple donuts and a surgery suit. (he is Sir licks a lot)

any other recommendations? we plan to stay with him throughout the recovery (WFH!)

biggest concern is getting him into the car after surgery. our plan is to gently lift his front paws in and then shimmy in the back.
