Compensate for low gpa
Hey folks,
This question has been asked numerous times and I have read many stories of individuals getting into grad schools with low gpa. I am looking for guidance and maybe some hope here.
M27. Double major in Statistics & Economics from University of Toronto. Class of 2020. GPA <2.2(I f***ed up, no excuses)
I am currently working as a Data Engineer in CitiBank in Canada and I am looking to do a Masters in data science/Computer science.
I have been told numerous times it will be next to impossible for me to get in masters so I ask: how do I compensate for my horrible GPA?
Assuming I get a near perfect GRE, get good letters of recommendation from my managers and able to demonstrate 2-3 years of work experience as a Data Engineer, what are my chances of getting into a somewhat decent grad school? And if this is not enough, then what can I do to increase my chances of getting into Grad school?
