Recommendation not submitted by professor for PhD program

As the title say deadline for most of my PhD programs was 15th December. Two of my professors have submitted the recommendation but the third one hasn't, he says he'll submit it tomorrow (30th December). How bad is it? Am I already rejected due to late recommendation submission?

Plz give me some help in this regard as well, like can I ask admission departments to somehow allow for more time?
