Am I fighting an uphill battle with this driver?
22hcp, back in July got fitted for a G425 LST 9 degree driver 45" stiff shaft to replace a hand-me-down that broke. Driver has always been a struggle for me so I trusted the process and trusted the fitters advice. Had few good rounds with it this year but still struggling with consistency. I've been putting in a lot of sim work with my driver this winter mainly working on club path and hitting the center of the face but I recently realized that the LST is more geared towards higher swing, mid to low handicap players.
I'm not super opposed to it but buying a new driver is really the last thing I'd like to do at the moment so I'm curious to know if I'm just going to be constantly fighting an uphill battle with this driver or if a higher handicap could manage it through more practice and lessons?
