Confused between Python and Java for transfer.

I am a student at GSU and I am planning to transfer to tech in spring 2025. I’ll be taking calc2 in the fall which will complete the requirements for me to transfer. I’m just confused about the CS classes. I’m already took 1301 and will be taking 1302 in the fall. Both of them are python. But I read that at tech they teach JAVA and no one teaches python after 1301. I know nothing about JAVA as of now so will that be a problem for me?
