The market decides on what makes a good product. It could be the very best design or blow a huge budget but if the market doesn’t buy it…. Then it’s not the best product.
Do you think that applies to this case involving a load of shovelware software?
Personally I have seen a lot of discussion about development in which the dev is fully willing to half-ass their work and phone in their “great” ideas which contributes to a lot of waste, bloat, and noise - such as over 14,000 pieces of inadequate software.
Or, is this an inundation of ‘scamware’ that exists to move trading cards and achievements?
E: i’m not talking about income. If a game didn’t break 10k, Steam is fundamentally saying that it isn’t commercially successful enough to exit “limited state”. So, is it worth existing? I insist- is anyone actually playing it?
