As UI artist, where to find projects to contribute?

Hey folks!

I work as a freelance UX/UI artist, I enjoy my job and I would like to contribute to a cool indie title.

I worked with a few small teams helping out with their MVP but most of them got stuck in development hell and probably will never be published. Currently I work in a AA studio (and enjoying it) and in my free time I also do game jams. I know there's no guarantee for a project success but I would love to contribute to a game that has potential, mature tean, and is generally exciting!

Where to find a contract projects? Should I just reach out to random Kickstarter projects that seem cool?
