Damn
Just.... Fuck. This chapter is just... Devastating. Urana is just... Man. I can't believe this was the outcome. I honestly don't think Follo is coming back, I think he's dead. My only hope that he's still alive, is the fact he hasn't let go of his hammer and his subconscious is refusing to let it go (this actually might be the intro to a flashback chapter).
123 does a great job of not only showing the consequences of a crash-out, but the dangers of over-correcting when trying to apologize for crashing out when they shouldn't have. I mean... Everyone has to be absolutely devastated. I honestly think if Follo is truly dead, this will be a moment where Rudo changes (being the bigger person and putting emotions aside even when you're in the right). Rudo will probably think to himself even if he nothing to really apologize for, if he would have kept a level head, Follo might still be alive. Being mature isn't just being calm and collected in a vacuum with no externalities: it's the ability to stay calm and collected in the face of those who aren't.
I think it's also important to note, the trash beast isn't dead (just injured right now). While the pillar fell on it and crushed it, the pillar did not consist of Anima (so Rudo or Tamsy are going to have to eventually attack it again). Who knows, this is Rudo's mission, Tamsy may not attack it until Rudo gives him the play. Rudo may make his priority to save Follo, and Tamsy obliges (but at the cost of the trash beast recovering). Idk. What does everyone think about this absolutely insane chapter? RIP Follo, you didn't deserve to go out like that.
