Is this normal for a custom 823?
Hey all,
I recently bought a custom 823 from Amazon. This listing. I was a little apprehensive, b/c the price is about $100 cheaper than elsewhere, but it's sold by the Pilot store on Amazon so figured it was probably fine.
After receiving the pen, I notice there's some "roughness", or even like mini-cracks on the inside of the barrel. It's up where the barrel flares open on the inside for the plunger to activate the vacuum filling, so it could just be an artifact of that. I'm wondering if other people with this pen see the same thing?
