WhatsApp Forest Study Group- accepting new members now!
Forest Study Group is a small community of dedicated Forest app users 🌱. The group focuses on creating sessions, joining others' sessions, helping with tasks, discussing the latest updates and events, troubleshooting app issues, sharing study advice, and much more!
❄️ Why this group?
The group is kept small to ensure members can connect better and build strong connections. A smaller group also helps prevent imposters who might ruin sessions, disrupt progress, and ruin your forest🍂
❄️ About this group
This group has been active for the past 8 months, the group currently has over 120 members.
New members are welcome to join! ❤️
❄️ How to join
🌨️ Step 1: Send your Forest email 📧 via direct message or comment 💬 on this post that you are willing to join and soon a message will be sent to ask for your email.
🌨️ Step 2: After confirming that the email belongs to a Forest user, the link to join the group will be provided.
Why this step? Email verification ensures that only genuine Forest app users join, and not sharing the group link publicly prevents imposters from entering.
❄️ Feel free to
🌨️ Invite other Forest-using friends by sending them group's link, ensuring they are informed about the group rules. Also inform the admin about your friend.
🌨️ After joining, you can introduce yourselves by sharing your name, country, what you use forest for, any other detail you wish to add. You can also share your email so others can add you and you can have a healthy competition with other members.
🌨️Schedules, study or focus tips can be shared in the group. Members can host sessions, join others' sessions, request specific tree planting sessions, and discuss anything related to the Forest app or studies.
❄️ Group Rules
- Relevant Topics Only
Discussions must be related to the Forest app or study-related topics.
- Time Zone Coordination
Members come from different time zones. When hosting or joining a session:
Avoid sharing exact times like, “The session will start at 6:00 PM.” ❌
Instead, specify how much time remains before the session begins, e.g., “The session will start in 10 minutes.” ✅
Incase of sharing schedules, always mention the time zone.
- Language
Since members are from around the world, English must be the only language used for communication. Avoid using other languages to ensure inclusivity. Even if you find a member who speaks the same language as you still avoid the use of that language and prefer the use of english
- No Spamming or Advertising 🚫
Members engaging in spam or advertisements will be removed immediately.
- Be Polite and Respectful
A polite tone must be maintained during interactions, regardless of your relations with the person outside the group.
Respect ensures a peaceful and supportive environment.
- No Unnecessary Private Messaging
Private messages to other members should only be sent if strictly related to studies, the Forest app, or this study group.
☃️For concerns or questions, discussions are encouraged within the group, or contact the admin directly.
