White goo on chicken breast?

Is it normal to have white goo on chicken before cooking? This water is room temp and the chicken hasn’t started cooking yet, this is how it came out of the fridge. The white gooey stuff is also a slightly different consistency from the denatured protein that comes out from cooking. It’s more liquidy and drippy, whereas the denatured protein is usually more foamy (when boiled at least). Any idea what this could be? Is it safe to eat?
