I’m nervous to be a CFI
I have my CFI initial checkride coming up, I’m nervous but confident that I’ll pass.
What I’m really nervous about is actually teaching. Having real students. I’m nervous about explaining things poorly or messing something up. We train and practice teaching, but it’s not the same as having an actual brand new student.
I can’t pin it on a singular or specific factor, but I’m just generally incredibly nervous about being a CFI.
Just wanted to put that out there and see if anyone can relate or has any tips to overcome it.
