AQP checkrides?

Hello,

I have been notified by my soon-to-be employer that my checkride will be AQP now instead of “the traditional type.” I am interested to see how it goes, but I wanted to ask: what makes AQP different? I looked it up and the majority of people have just said that it’s “easier”, but I wanted to know what made it easier and how it works vs. a normal checkride. Thanks!
