Artists who's style is deceptively hard to replicate
Joni Mitchell's guitar playing can sound like normal singer songwriter stuff to the uninitiated until you actually try to play like her. She's easily the best guitarist of that hippie folk wave. Like, Eric Clapton and Led Zeppelin were in awe of her guitar skills.
Sunn 0)))'s music gets made fun of as being long drawn out chords which it kind of is. But there's a lot of nuance to how those chords are layered and mixed. It takes a lot of attention and a good ear for subtlety to properly make Drone Metal like them. There's a lot more dynamics in their songd than you'd think if you've only heard small snippets.
