Need some insight into my current seed.
Hey folks,
Been playing Factorio on and off for a while now, but I'm still pretty novice at the game. In my current world I feel like I'm really struggling with oil/plastic/sulfur production. I originally found one patch near my starting base but I have pretty much pumped it dry now and I'm still only on the first 4 science packs. I had to go miles away (western most train stop in my screenshot) to find a second patch of oil and I'm worried I still won't be producing enough oil products. Also, I haven't seen a scrap of uranium yet. Am I just really unlucky or are you really meant to expand this far this early to find resources like oil and uranium? Is there an easier way to reveal the map besides going out and exploring in a vehicle?
