PIMO, PIMI, POMO Acronyms

Hi everyone,

I'm interested in the development of these acronyms, and if anyone knows when they were formed/became popular.

Also, are these terms known to people who are still 'in' or do you only really learn about them after you leave? If you used one of them within earshot of someone still heavily indoctrinated, would they know what you mean?

I'm an ex SDA and have noted the terms being used by us as well, although I'm pretty sure it stared with you guys.

Any education would be great. 👍 Asking for research purposes for a fiction novel.
