Unable to Unlock Slicers
I am attemptign to protect my workbook so it can be used by my team internally without the possibility of getting messed up. However, I'd like to keep the slicers functional on the worksheet which contains my dashboard. I found the steps to do so online, it involves...
- Right-click on a slicer and choose
Size and Properties. - In the Format Slicer pane, go to the
Propertiessection and make sure the "Locked" checkbox is unchecked.
However, i am unable to unlock the slicers as you see in the photo its greyed out. I've tried to find a solution for this online but could not find anyone with a similar problem. Ive only been able to protect the entire worksheet and workbook, but then you cant click on the slicer buttons.
