Healthcare AI

Does anyone have experience with healthcare AI? I currently work full time in the ED, but I’m considering a 6 month program in AI and Machine Learning that I can do in my time off. I’m not sure if those types of post-graduate certificates make as much of a difference as opposed to a “real” degree program in AI. My hope would be to lead a team efficiently with a medical background and general understanding of AI to produce some marketable AI products or help lead AI teams of healthcare systems engineers. I know of one physician who did this without any additional education, but would like to hear if anyone else has a different experience.
