Question on altered fates in Dynasty Warriors Origins

I've currently replaying Wu's story and I managed to save Sun Jian back in Chapter 3.

After that, I used the "Suppression of Wu" restart point to save Sun Ce, and I saw the altered fate notice after defeating Bailuan. However, after completing the mission, I was brought back to the inn (the chapter select screen) and didn't see any cutscenes.

Am I supposed to play through the entirety of Chapter 4 again, this time using the restart point where Sun Jian was saved to continue?
