Can a single OD put you into psychosis

Hey y’all so I had a serious episode where I was tweaking tf out and my frankly ret*rded ass thought it would be a good idea to trip on DXM because I was trying to quit smoking weed little did I know that being on 300 mg bupropion would put me in the hospital as I took 5 ml delsym (888 mg poli) yeah it was a shit show and I think it made me insane for a bit. I was having at least a panic attack every day and I would wake up every day shaking in stuff I’m mostly fine now but if anyone had any similar experiences feel free to share love y’all
