English Subtitles

Hi I'm just wondering If watching Spanish content with subtitles is at all beneficial. Now I can feel you lowering your eyebrows already having seen this a hundred times before lol (I get it) but hold up. I'm not in anyway talking about what I intend to include as my daily input. I'm talking about bonus content, once I've hit my daily goal and I fancy watching a film In Spanish or playing a video game in Spanish I'm asking if it's got any benefit at all or is it actively harmful to my acquisition?
