So. Where was the Architect?

(take this with a grain of salt. My lore knowledge isn't super great) Like. I would've thought I would've seen him somewhere in Veilguard given he's (as far as I'm aware) a very important character to the entirety of the dark spawn species. We learned from him, they are an actual people and everything and not just monsters.

And as far as I know, he kept his word. There was very little to no dark spawn in Inquisition. Then Veilguard. They came back because of the gods. Aaaand...no architect? Was there a comic or storybook that explains this? A codex entry I missed?
