[DATV ALL SPOILERS] The Evanuris

Quick question that I'm hoping the lore buffs out there may have caught that I missed.

When attempting to save the Dalish from Elgar'nan and the Venatori, Solas starts antagonizing Elgar'nan in order to distract him. One of the things Solas mentions is how there won't be anymore eluvians without June... Who is apparently dead? I figured that June and the other Evanuris were still trapped in the Fade, and while their archdemons were killed in the earlier Blights, would only be mortal now (ie how Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain don't die when their archdemons are killed in game).

So my question is how did June die? Was there something in the lore that suggested all the other Evanuris died aside from Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain? Did they simply "fade" away after their archdemons were killed while they were imprisoned? Or is this just a way to write out the other Evanuris as potential future villains by killing them off-screen?
