5 pin input/output jacks??

Did I make another idiot move trying to build a pedal and buy the wrong jacks? Cause it looks like there's usually just 3 pins, but the ones I bought have 5. https://lovemyswitches.com/1-4-stereo-switched-enclosed-jack-5-pins/ these ones in particular.

Also, for wires to them, do I kinda just use any wire? I am very new to building (this is my first build) and I've finally finished soldering the pcb, I just need to do the wiring stuff now. And I'm realizing I'm a bit unprepared since I don't even know if there's a specific type of wire I need to use.
