12 Directories in 12 Months -- 2025

Last week, I pitched the idea of starting a “12 Directories in 12 Months” club. A few people responded positively, so I’m making a more formal pitch now. The main goal would be to provide support and accountability for everyone taking on this challenge.

Questions for you

  1. Who’s in? Are you interested in joining? Would you make a commitment to participate?
  2. Where should it live? Should we use Discord, Reddit, or another platform?
    • Discord offers more privacy and real-time discussions.
    • Reddit might attract a broader audience and potentially help us gain backlinks to our directories (just a theory–thoughts?).
  3. Meeting format: Do you prefer live, in-person-style meetings (e.g., video/voice chats) or asynchronous check-ins (e.g., posts and updates)?
  4. Important features: What would make this group most useful for you? Here are some ideas to get us started:
    • Regular accountability check-ins
    • Opportunities to collaborate on directories
    • Sharing resources and strategies
    • Tools or methods to track progress

Your feedback will help me decide if this is worth pursuing and, if so, how to shape it into something truly helpful for everyone involved.
