I am so sad

Friends. I hurt. I feel like the window is closed and the opportunity is gone.

My father of 74 years old has never seen the Lions sniff a Super Bowl except for last year. That is it. Now we are done until September. Both our coordinators are leaving. The finite window looks to be closing. It is so hard to win a ring.

Every Lions fan knows the Grit it takes to just get up the next day saying “hey, we fought hard”. It is brutal. It is painful. I and my father have done it for years. And it is so so so tough. But we get up just the same.

This one hurts so much. I just want this for my dad. I want this for Detroit.
