ICE detained and interrogated one of my employees children

My employee is American. Her daughter is American. She has darker skin. She was on her way to work and stopped for coffee when ICE stopped and detained her. She couldn’t call her husband or parents. They demanded to see her identification and asked her questions about where she works how long etc.

They said she looked like someone they were looking for. But is this what we all signed up for? ICE detaining us and asking AMERICANS for their paper? If you look remotely ethnic do you need to carry your birth certificate with you? Scary situation, and disgraceful.
