To that Angel of a person. Thanks! Faith in humanity restored.
Today, while traveling on the Delhi Metro from Sikanderpur to Kashmiri Gate, I had an impromptu meeting and had to get off at AIIMS station. In the rush, I left my AirPods on one of the chairs. I realized this two stations later and had already given up hope of ever finding them again. But my wife insisted we go back and check. Reluctantly, I agreed.
To my surprise, the “Find My” app showed they were still at the AIIMS station. I was skeptical but decided to follow the signal. At first, I couldn’t locate them anywhere on the chairs. Just as I was about to give up, the app picked up the signal, and I played a sound. To my astonishment, the AirPods were safely placed on top of a fire alarm button, hidden from plain sight.
Someone not only found them but also took the effort to keep them secure, ensuring they wouldn’t be easily noticed or taken. To that kind and thoughtful stranger, if you’re reading this, you earned a lot of blessings today. Thank you for your honesty and effort.
