Reduced clothing for temperature shifts?

I have what feels like a huge amount of clothing that I actually use on a weekly basis. Any tips for more flexibility in clothing in an area/house where the temperature changes dramatically?

For example, our spring temperatures can shoot between 8-20C (46-70F) and then back again. Cold nights mean warm leggings, a long sleeved top, plus warm sweater. This morning (chilly) I put on a long sleeved thin silky top (long underwear style), a long sleeved blouse over that, then jeans, and a jacket for biking on errands. I take off layers during biking and once home. By midday, I’m in a short sleeved t shirt and jeans, but it’s warm enough for shorts too. By afternoon I’ll be pulling back on the blouse, and by evening I’ll need a light sweater, and then a medium-weight hoody over the sweater.

I try to rewear lightly used clothing, but my laundry basket /clothing hooks fill up ridiculously fast. My dresser is jammed full because I do actually wear 7-12 sweaters/hoodies and 7-10 shirts a week, not counting dressy outings. And 5-7 different jeans and leggings and pajamas….

Extra background. Our weather can swing from snow to heat in a week, but varies daily between chilly and warm. I work from home, have little kids, and have an active lifestyle (office or delicate clothes not needed). I’m very sensitive to cold. We have no AC, just heating.

Friends can stay in the same stylish outfit all day long, with maybe just a light sweater in the evening, and it makes me feel high-maintenance and sad :(

Any advice for dealing with temperature swings and reducing total amount of clothing?

ETA: Style issues. We live in an upper-middle class city and a country where women rarely wear hoodies or athleisurewear in public. So even if I do wear joggers or hoodies at home, I would change into jeans or a sweater before leaving the house. Then I change back, once home, to avoid paint or food spatters or toddler smears :) I like my life, I just really struggle with clothing and temperatures!
