Honest question about the physics and flight model of DCS vs MSFS.

I’ve read everywhere that the flight model in DCS is far superior to MSFS. As someone who’s new to the hobby and flown both, they of course felt different but nothing seemed to stick out like a sore thumb. I’m not saying it’s not there, just that as someone who doesn’t know what to look for, it didn’t seem blatantly obvious.

I watched a review on the ITB YouTube channel and he compared the Heatblur F-14 MSFS version to the DCS and said the DCS felt like you were flying more on a knife’s edge than in MSFS. That sounds cool but what would I need to do to experience the difference myself?
