Quick Help - Coloured Borders taking on attributes of colour grade rather than selected colour
Hi there, I'm a super novice in the process of learning - right now I'm just making super simple videos where I record clouds and fields on a tripod, colour grade them, then add a white border around the edges so they look cute on my photography instagram.
The last step after my colour adjustments is to apply a "Coloured Border" effect to get the white edges, but the border seems to be taking on the attributes of the colour grade rather than the selected white in the panel. Tor example I did a video with warm tones so even though I picked white for the border, it's coming out peachy. Borders aren't don tin the grade though, they're in the Edit window so mentally it feels like it should be going on top of everything and not be affected by the grade.
I'm from the photoshop world in a past life, so I'm hoping it's just a matter of rearranging the order of things somehow? Any help is appreciated, I've been fumbling with this all weekend lol and when I try to search it up I just get tutorials on how to use borders (not this issue)
Thank you in advance! I'm on a Mac, using the full studio version. Screenshot of my workspace is in the comments.
