Best Road Cycling Scenes USA

Hey everyone, my wife and I are currently looking at making a move out of South Carolina west of the Mississippi. Cycling is a huge part of my life as I basically do enough road cycling to consider it a part time job at this point, so that will be part of the evaluation as we decide where to go.

Curious to hear what parts of the country you live in that has a healthy road cycling scene that I’d enjoy? I’ve heard good things about Colorado, Arizona, and California of course, but would love any insight that anyone could offer whether it’s those states or others!
