We should be able to influence the election of the Pope

I watched Conclave last night and researched a bit more into the whole history behind the election of the next Pope and saw it wasn’t until the early 13th century when the College of Cardinals elected the Pope. From what I remember, the Pope was heavily influenced by the monarchs of Western Europe, the HRE/Frankish Kingdoms especially. I think it’d be a cool mechanic to add later in the development process, there are already other election mechanics regardless.
