Advice regarding how to wash my crochet blanket…

(For context: I’m self taught and I’ve been crocheting for just over a year.)

I made a blanket for my queen bed and it’s about 60x70 inches. I used Lion Brand Re-spun thick & quick, which is a (6) super bulky, 100% recycled polyester yarn.

I know I can’t put this in the washer, plus I don’t think I’d even want to try it. The dry weight of this blanket is 6 pounds, so I’m nervous about the water making it too heavy to move around if I were to soak it in the tub… I didn’t block this blanket either because of the size of it… I need some advice because this is uncharted territory for me!
