Best spots for daytime BBQ?

Hey guys, moved to the area recently. My birthday is coming up next month and had the idea of doing a daytime BBQ/hangout at a park somewhere to invite family & friends if the weather is sunny

Only parks I really know in the area are Lafarge & Rocky Point but I know those can get busy real quick since they're popular

So I was curious if the Reddit community here had any recommendations for any other parks or hidden gems to have a BBQ type hangout with the family in the area?

Would love to also just explore more of Coquitlam and tri-city areas too! Cheers in advance for any answers 🙏🏼
